Casework Community

(for FACS staff including caseworkers and those working with contracts and payments)

When ChildStory is available to FACS staff in October–November this year, the Casework Community will be where caseworkers access the tools and information they need for assessments, case planning, caseload management, referrals, and contact management. Everything will be found in the one place. Everything will be able to be printed and saved.

From May 2018, FACS contracts and payments staff will start using ChildStory for all contract management and payments.

ChildStory will eventually replace KiDS, the Contracting Portal, DoCS Connect and the Referral Management System.

The ChildStory implementation team are presenting information sessions in all CSCs in July and August. See what they’ve presented and the questions that have been asked.

See how automated genograms will work in ChildStory (pdf 485kb).

Reporter puzzle pieceThe Reporter Community currently contains the latest version of the Mandatory Reporting Guide (MRG). Mandatory reporters use the MRG to determine what action should be taken if they have concerns that a child or young person is at risk of being neglected or physically, sexually or emotionally abused. In October–November this year, mandatory reporters will use the Reporter Community to e-report children and young people at risk of significant harm in NSW, view the progress of previous reports, and access supporting resources.
